The Second Annual Blogger Awards // let me be all sappy & share my favorites with y’all

37 Comments April 17, 2018 thebookprophet

I am so very excited to write this post. I participated in this award nominating last year (and actually won an award with Debbie and Lia for the Best Friend Ever award!!) and immediately wanted to write my post including my nominations because this was a lot of fun to do last year and I’ve found so many new amazing bloggers since then! March Monthly Wrap-Up // moving, going to a concert & weird blogging month

29 Comments April 4, 2018 thebookprophet

March went by so fast! It didn’t, but also, it feels like it should still be March instead of April. Gosh – it’s April already. We’re really flying through this year aren’t we? Anyway, this month was both productive and unproductive. You’ll see why in this post 🙂

Down the TBR Hole #19

16 Comments March 30, 2018 thebookprophet

I haven’t done one of these posts since late last month so I felt like it was about time for me to brave my TBR pile again. And I kinda don’t have any motivation to write a ‘proper’ post so here we are. Read More

Why I Love Reading Negative Reviews // it’s controversial opinion time!

66 Comments March 14, 2018 thebookprophet

Instead of writing a book review today because somebody didn’t finish the book she was supposed to I will be writing a sort of discussion post about negative reviews. I think this is a nice compromise, especially since I feel like it’s been quite a while since I’ve done a post like this due to laziness being busy.

February Monthly Wrap-Up // my twitter hiatus, university hunting & bettering myself

51 Comments March 2, 2018 thebookprophet

February was more of a hectic month than January, I think, but also a wonderful month overall. Wonderful because I did so many things to better improve myself mentally and physically, and I’ve been working really hard to strive for perfection in school. I’m overall excited to write this wrap-up! Read More

So um... it’s been a while since I posted last, hasn’t it? Well I’m back!! My theme will be a bit different but not much different than it was before as you can tell. I’ll try to branch out and be more creative with my photos. This was a very spur of the moment picture I took just now after I got home from getting my hair cut. I’m so happy with this cut and plus I went to Barnes and noble so I’m in the best mood at the moment (and about to do some algebra ugh). Go to my story to see my entire haircut and the books I purchased! - - If you didn’t know, American Panda by the wonderful @gloriacchao was my most anticipated read for 2018 and since the last time I posted the book was released, I read it, I reviewed it on my blog (link in bio) and continue to fawn over it. If you want a heartfelt book about a girl trying to navigate her way through college and balance her parents and their cultural beliefs as well as her dreams, this is your book! I loved Mei and her story so much🥟🥢 - - - - #book #bookstagram #guesswhosback #mei #taiwan #chinese #bookworm #bookish #reading #american #americanpanda #asia #asianamerican #newhaircut #youngadult
I told myself I wouldn’t enter rep searches anymore but I absolutely love @merakinshop bookmarks. I think they’d look beautiful in my pictures (I’ll be going back to a similar theme that I used to have in January 2018 - as shown in the pictures in the collage). I’m Savannah and I have a Bookstagram, BookTube, and Blog. I love bookmarks and your bookmarks are absolutely beautiful and it would be an honor to be chosen as a rep to take pictures of your bookmarks. I love your animal and flower designs. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity and I hope you take my entry into consideration 💕💕#merakinrepsearch2
Who said Christmas isn’t for another month? I’m ready! - - If I could curl up all day with that hat on and read a book I would😍it’s the softest thing in existence! Do you have a favorite clothing item during the cold season??
This isn't very Halloween-y but I was too lazy to dress up so I just took this😂 - - What's your favorite Halloween read? And what're you dressing up as/doing for Halloween tonight?
Hey everyone! I hope your week is being good to you so far. Mine is doing okay but I had a crazy weekend that left me exhausted. - - - I'm so excited to read this book, it comes out January 2018 and I got so happy when the author agreed to send me a copy of her book for review☺ What are some books your excited to read?
Happy Monday everybody! Not that I'm excited about Monday, but it's finally cold outside again and although I woke up freezing this morning, it feels so good! I just love the crisp cool air of fall/winter. - - - Have you read The Raven Boys? Do you like fall/winter or are you more of a spring/summer kind of being?
