Book Review Policy:
Hello authors and publishers and marketers! If you’re here, that means you’re interested in having me read a book you either wrote, published, or represent! First off I would like to thank you for thinking of having me review your book! Now, onto the more ‘serious’ stuff such as my actual policy…
As I do accept review copies of books, I only accept physical copies and it may take me a while to get to reading and reviewing certain books. All of my opinions are my own and getting a copy for review doesn’t affect the way I feel about a book at all and won’t change my overall rating.
I don’t accept e-books or audio-books because reading on those formats usually affects my overall opinion on the book. It’s very rare for me to not finish a book because I feel like every book deserves a fair chance, so know that if you send me a book for review, I will put all my effort into finishing it.
I accept ARCs, but like I mentioned above, they’ll have to be print copies in order for me to read them. I will respond to your email request saying whether I’d like to review it or not. I won’t accept all review copies because I want to make sure I’ll have enough time to read and review all the books I get within a reasonable time-frame, but I will be accepting as many as I am able to.
Genres I Like and Don’t Like To Read:
- Any Young Adult
- Science Fiction
- Historical Fiction
- Graphic Novels
- Adult Romance
- Non-Fiction (Including Memoirs, Biographies, and Autobiographies)
How To Contact Me:
If you’re interested in contacting me so that I can review your book, you can reach me at email@example.com.
Where I Will Be Posting My Reviews:
I will be posting my reviews here on my blog, as well as on my Goodreads account. I will also mention the books I read on my Twitter and Instagram accounts and possibly my YouTube channel as well. If there is anywhere else you would like me to review your books, let me know and I will see if I’ll be able to do that as well!
What I Talk About In My Reviews:
Most of my reviews are non-spoiler so I don’t go into much depth on what goes on in the books I read. I talk about what the book’s about and how I felt about the beginning, middle, and end of the book as well as the characters and plot. I talk about my main opinion of the book and it’s themes as well as the writing itself and how well I think the different aspects in it were explored (such as plot, characters, the world, etc.)
Thank you so much for checking out my blog and I hope you end up considering sending me a book for review!
