Gosh. It’s really been a while. Apparently it’s been 24 days since I posted a blog post?? I do have an excuse and it is a good one, but I have three pre-written posts that I could have posted but… um… didn’t for some reason.
in reality i’m just a lazy potato that failed nanowrimo and didn’t post on my blog
Oh yeah. I completely failed NaNoWriMo. I mean, not completely because I did write 8,000 words in my book. But basically, my first time participating in NaNoWriMo was a huge flop and I’m actually okay with that.
Besides that, my house sold, BTS took over America, and I’ve limited my coffee intake so everything has been good. Also, CHRISTMAS IS ALMOST HERE and it’s possible that I might actually spend it somewhere cold.
Annie On My Mind // 4.5 Stars. Great book chronicling two girls falling in love and discovering their sexuality.
Agoness // 2.5 Stars. Fell flat, nothing interested me. Review coming soon.
I kinda failed to read this month but I have 12 books that I have waiting for me to read and review so… yeah. I need to get on with that.
Although I only read two books this month, I managed to finish my Goodreads Reading Goal for 2017!! Cue the fireworks and cut the ribbon to allow the carriages of riches and gold and dragons and desserts into my kingdom! Um… what?
These are all books sent to me for review
i honestly forgot about most of them for the past month oops so I need to read them asap.
Seeing as how my November went with reading, I probably won’t finish all of these but I really need to at least try. I also made sure to not accept any books that were long so they shouldn’t take long to read.
I’m also kind of optimistic because I’ll be stuck in a car for 16 hours as we drive to our new house so that’s valuable reading time that i originally wanted to spend watching kdramas but i should probably instead spend reading because i’m y’know, a book blogger
I only reviewed two books but they had a f/f relationship as the main focus so that’s definitely progress!
Most Popular Post:
It’s no surprise that my most popular post for this month ended up being the post about NaNoWriMo. *pst* if you’d like to have a lot of views on your blog in november, write about national novel writing month *pst over*
My parents said to not tell anybody about this yet because they don’t want me to jinx it, but I like to see you guys as my good luck charms but… I’M MOVING!!!
As y’all might know from my past couple monthly wrap-ups, we listed our house to sell and it took around 50+ days but it finally sold and we’re moving. I can’t say where, but it’s somewhere I’ve never been before and I’M SO EXCITED.
We’ve been busy packing and selling loads of stuff because we have to fit everything we own into one container #help but I’ve just been way too excited to complain. We’ve had this house since (2010? 2012?) it’s been a long time (for us at least) so this is a very exciting time for us.
2017 overall hasn’t treated my family well so hopefully this move will be a step in the right direction to a better 2018.
Speaking of which, DECEMBER IS THE LAST MONTH OF THE YEAR! I know I say this all the time, but how is it already the last month?? It seems like it was, I don’t know, May just last month or something.
I already began putting together my resolutions for 2018 in my head (I won’t share until January so y’all will have to wait!)
What I Watched:
I might’ve not read much this month but I surely watched a lot of television!
My family got all caught up on Hawaii Five-O and finished Stranger Things 2 (Steve ❤ rip you know who) and began watching Supernatural again. My family seems to watch Supernatural in spurts and so we watched season 12 and are almost caught up on 13. It’s of course not the show it once was but it’s still enjoyable.
Movie-wise the other night my family watched Kingsman: The Secret Circle which was a pretty solid movie, although long. And last night my mom saw Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them for the first time. She said it made her smile, which makes me smile. I love that movie so much.
On my own I finished Oh My Ghostess, which I realize I still haven’t written a review for. It was supposed to be up at the beginning of the month but that obviously didn’t happen. It’ll come soon, I promise!
Netflix also added season 2 of Good Morning Call, a Japanese Drama I watched a few months back and HAD NO IDEA was getting a second season so soon. I literally squealed when I saw that pop up on my TV, no joke. I’m halfway through the season already *cries* and I love it so much!
can we just talk about all the ships though?? i seriously have no idea who to ship in this show. one second it’s nao and uehara, then it’s uehara and natsume, then it’s nao and natsume, then it’s nao and daichi, it’s never-ending!!
I also watched every Monsta x reality show/variety show appearances I could find on YouTube. I didn’t finish their No Exit Broadcast because in a preview it showed them crying and my heart can’t take that so I’ve held it off for the past week or two.
What I Listened To:
I don’t think I’ve ever listened to so much music in my life like I did in November. Between needing to focus on school and catch up for lost time and the stress of packing, I’ve listened to more music than ever. Here’s some of what I’ve been listening to:
I listened to the sad playlist while writing because my book will give you all the feels and just slow music or piano music while doing exams and such to keep me focused (which helped so much!!)
I’ve also just been listening to BTS Playlist and Monsta x Playlist on Pandora so it’s a mix of different K-Pop groups and such. There have been a lot of K-Pop music releases this month, most notably the MIC Drop Remix BTS has with Steve Aoki and Monsta x’s Dramarama. I’m in love with them both.
Usually I add a Blog and Writing section to my wrap-ups but I kinda already spoke about them in this wrap-up already and I don’t want to make this post unnecessarily long so this will be the end.
Expect some interesting posts this month as I already have three written that will be scheduled after I post this one, a couple guest posts, and more! So stay tuned 🙂
How was your November reading-wise? Did anything interesting happen in your personal or blogging life?? Let me know!
