Crisp Fall Air – A Book That Felt Fresh and New

I’m going with I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. The writing, characters, and method of storytelling in this book gave it a very fresh feel. Even though it deals with similar topics as loads of other contemporaries, the way Nelson put it together brought something new to the genre I haven’t seen before.

Howling Winds – An Ending That Blew You Away

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor. Although I didn’t absolutely love this book like loads of other people did, the ending absolutely blew my socks off. It was hinted at in the beginning of the book but I hadn’t linked it together and didn’t think it was going to happen.

Comfy Sweaters – A Book That Gave You The Warm and Fuzzies

The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli. This book just made me all warm and fuzzy inside from beginning to end. It made me laugh and want to cuddle up in a blanket and read all day – which is basically what I spent one night and morning doing.

Bright Colors – A Cover With Either Red, Orange, or Yellow

whendimplemetrishi

This is the go-to answer probably, but not only is it orange, but there’s iced coffee which could be pumpkin spiced for all we know! I mean, Dimple didn’t order pumpkin spiced coffee in the book, but you get the point.

Leaf Fight – A Book With Non-Stop Action

I’ll have to go with Starflight by Melissa Landers here. This book truly surprised me. It was action-packed the entire book and so much happened. If you want a sci-fi book with space pirates and lots of starship-fighting action, pick this one up!

Pumpkin Spice – Your Most Anticipated Read

I can’t choose just one! My most anticipated book for the rest of this year is Forest of a Thousand Lanterns (even though it literally comes out one day after I’m posting this). I also have a post with my most anticipated books of 2018.

I Tag:

Darque Dreamer Reads

Kourtni Reads

Alliem Books

As always, if you’re tagged but wouldn’t like to do the tag, you’re not required to and if you’re interested in doing the tag but I didn’t tag you, feel free to do it!

    1. I know right!!! It’s such an underrated book, I don’t know why people have been sleeping on it. You’re probably the second or third person who’s said they read it as well 😮
