Today’s post is something very special. I reached 500 followers on the blog about a week ago! In celebration of this accomplishment, I asked y’all to ask me some questions on Twitter and in a blog post that I posted last week. Well, y’all sent me your questions so here I am to answer them!

But before that, I would just like to get all sappy here and say thank you to every one of you. I love you all for putting aside time in your day to read my blog posts and to comment. It means a lot to me to know that there are people out there (500!) that actually like (and choose to) read the blog posts I spend time writing.

What’s Your Favorite Baby Animal?

The answer for this always changes but one of my favorite animals are polar bears and baby polar bears are the most adorable thing in the world. So baby polar bears!

If you had to choose one favorite BTS member, who would it be?

I was hoping somebody would ask me a BTS question! And the answer is… JIMIN! I actually got Jimin in this Buzzfeed quiz and it’s so accurate! Not the extrovert part, but everything else. I do love all of the other members as well, though! My favorite is constantly changing but for now at this moment it’s Jimin.

What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

Y’all are asking the really important questions. I really love Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia. But besides that my favorites are also strawberry and mint chocolate chip. I’m not a fan of chocolate ice cream (don’t scream at me – it just… isn’t good) but I do like when there’s chocolate in the form of chunks and such.

fun fact, i actually prefer frozen yogurt to ice cream

What book would you like to throw out the window?

At first glance I read this as ‘what book would you like to throw at a widow‘ and was understandably very confused.

Ahem.

ANYWAY. Divergent by Veronica Roth. Or rather, the entire trilogy. I’m sorry but I just really hate this trilogy.

Favorite and least favorite Harry Potter character?

Oooh! It’s actually been a while since I answered a Harry Potter-related question on here so this is exciting.

My favorite is Fred *sits in a pile of  tears* and my least favorite is Umbridge because – um – why not?

What is one thing you’d like to achieve as a book blogger?

I think getting to 1,000 followers is one thing that I would like to achieve as a blogger. Oh! Also getting invited to book events because I’m a *big* blogger.

Wait. That’s a thing, right?

Anyways, reaching 1,000 followers is my ultimate goal and I’m halfway there! I think that 1,000 is the number where things start to sink in and you get knocked over and realize ‘oh, there are actually loads of people that read my blog‘.

What is the first book you fell in love with?

Gosh, how should I know that?? I always have to check my Goodreads just to see what books I’ve read this year so far. I know it wasn’t Harry Potter because I read lots and lots of books before then. But Harry Potter was surely one of the firsts.

What would be your ultimate vacation destination?

I’ve mentioned this before (I think) but when I go on vacation, I’d rather go somewhere that has lots of things to do rather than somewhere relaxing like some private island (honestly, that sounds boring to me).

So. Seoul, South Korea. Tokyo, Japan sounds amazing too, so one of those (or both)! I definitely want to try the food (minus stuff like octopus), visit some themed cafes and just enjoy myself immersed in the culture.

What is your favorite movie genre?

This is actually a difficult question to answer. I like action but most action movies are just different variations of the same thing so it’s not my favorite genre. Comedy is something I like, but not the dirty comedies. I like comedy that’s witty and fun and just plain funny, even if you’re not exactly sure why it’s funny.

Fantasy is always fun too. I don’t know, it really varies. I’m not much of a movie watcher as I am a TV show watcher so this is a hard question to answer. If it’s a good movie, it doesn’t matter what genre it is.

What is your favorite season?

What is your favorite part about book blogging?

I love being part of a community. And being part of a community as amazing as the online book blogging community is something that just makes me so happy. We are such a diverse community of individuals from all over the globe that come together to talk about one mutual thing we share in common. It will forever and always blow my mind.

And coming from somebody that’s always secretly felt out of place with people my age, I’ve found a place where I fit in and where people understand and connect with me. It’s truly priceless and even if I one day decide to stop blogging for whatever reason, I will always look back and remember this time of my life with a smile on my face.

What started your love for K-Pop?

Essentially it was BTS because they’re the first K-Pop group that I not only watched their music videos and listened to their music, but also watched loads of videos about them as people and got to know them for who they are off the stage.

But before that I think the first K-Pop video I watched was an EXO one. I’m not sure which one, but it did catch my attention and made me think ‘oh. I actually like this. Maybe this is what I should be listening to.’ 

I never liked American pop music and I have a peculiar distaste for 99% of songs these days so when I came upon K-Pop and actually liked it, this is what I looked like:

What fictional world would you like to live in?

I mean, the Wizarding World is sort of a given. I can’t think of any other fictional world I would like to live in besides possibly Middle Earth.

What fictional character would you want to bring to our world?

I do know some that I would NOT like to bring to our world.

Oh! Wait!

If I brought a character that was supposed to be dead, would that revive them??

If so, then I choose Fred Weasley!

And if not – then I’ll choose Park from Eleanor & Park because he was probably one of my first book boyfriends and I still have a soft spot for him.

What’s been your worst book hangover so far and why?

To be completely honest, I don’t think I’ve ever had a proper book hangover. But. When I finished The Raven King it took me a few days to pick up another book. Usually I choose one right away, but that book left me like this:
