Today is Saturday, my book friends, which means it’s time for me to tackle my TBR! Every Saturday I tackle my TBR by taking part in Down the TBR Hole, a weekly meme created by Lia from Lost in a Story. Let’s get started!
Burning Glass by Kathryn Purdie
So I was at Barnes and Noble one day as book readers tend to do and I decided that instead of getting a book I’ve heard a lot about I would choose a book on the shelf that I hadn’t recognized before and thus I picked up this. It sounded interesting and then I saw the rating and the reviews… I don’t feel it anymore.
Final Verdict: GO
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling
I don’t have the illustrated edition and I’ve read all of the regular books… I think I’ll just remove this one because I have read it, just not in this edition. I’ll add it back when I actually read this edition.
Final Verdict: GO
The Secret Fire by C.J. Daugherty
I was going to remove this but then I read the synopsis again and I am still intrigued by this concept.
Final Verdict: KEEP
And I Darken by Kiersten White
I remember being really excited for this to come out but I still haven’t picked it up! It sounds so dark and I still really want to read it!
Final Verdict: KEEP
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black
I’ve heard some pretty good things about this book and it does sound like an interesting twist on vampires. I do own the book so it’s more likely I’ll read it sooner than later because it does still peak my interest!
Final Verdict: KEEP
A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
This is a series I want to read SO BADLY but I don’t own the books! I want to buy the entire series at once so I can binge them since the third and last book is out now but I don’t have the money! Maybe I can ask for them for my birthday…
Final Verdict: KEEP
Practical Applications for Multiverse Theory by Noa Gavin
If I hadn’t won this book in a Goodreads giveaway I probably never would’ve added it to my TBR, but it is fairly short and it does sort of still sound interesting… but then again I have my doubts… Nah, I’ll get rid of it.
Final Verdict: GO
You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) by Felicia Day
Y’all might know by now that I’m a huge fan of the TV show Supernatural and Felicia Day played a character on that show and she’s a huge geek herself and this is the only memoir I’ve ever been interested in. I’m keeping it for sure!
Final Verdict: KEEP
Age of Myth by Michael J. Sullivan
Also another book I won in a giveaway but this one I am really interested in! And I’ve heard some great things about it.
Final Verdict: KEEP
Gifted by J.A. George
Eh… this doesn’t really sound all that interesting anymore… I’ll let this one go.
Final Verdict: GO
I think I did fairly good this time! I almost kept Practical Applications, but went back and decided to let it go. I’m very happy with my choices! Let me know if you’ve read any of these!
Keeping ADSoM is a good choice!! Though I have mixed feelings about the trilogy, I’d still recommend those books because they’re so creative.

I’ve added The Coldest Girl in Coldtown to my TBR for so long now, yet I’m still interested in reading it at some point, it sounds awesome and the cover is great! I hope you enjoy it once you read it 😊😊

YES YES YES ADSOM!!! While ADSOM wasn’t my favorite, I LOOOOOOOVED AGOS and ACOL. Beware of ACOL though. It will rip out your heart and you will forever be damaged.
