Hello wonderful bookworms! I was nominated for The Liebster Award by A Happy Clam. I think I might’ve done this before, just not on this blog, but I’ll do it again anyway. But thank you for nominating me nonetheless!

If you could live in any book universe, which would you pick?
Now, will I be generic and say Harry Potter or interesting and choose something a bit more original? I’ll go with something more original, and so I’ll go with The Witchlands from, well, The Witchlands series. I just find this fantasy world really cool and I love the idea of all these different types of witches having all these different powers.
Assemble a team of literary butt-kickers (no swearing on this blog, sorry) to help you fight off the zombie apocalypse. Who would you choose?
Yikes, this is a toughie. Well…. The Walking Dead is a graphic novel… I could just go with Rick and his crew, but that’s not very creative. How large can this team be? Well, a team is typically around 4-6 people, right? I’ll go with Rick and Michonne from The Walking Dead, Safi and Iseult from Truthwitch, Jon Snow from A Song of Ice and Fire, and Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games. Okay that’s actually a really wonderful set of characters. Wow, and I think they’d all get along quite well together. Katniss might cause some conflict with others, but she’s just Katniss so that’s normal.
Pick a book or character that most closely resembles you or your life.
Ergh I don’t know! I mainly read fantasy, and that’s not exactly a great depiction of me nor my life… I guess I’d have to go with Cath from Fangirl. This is only because we’re both similar in the sense where we are both, well, fangirls, and love fan-fiction. We’re also both a bit terrified of the future and I’m certainly scared for college.
What is your favorite movie or TV show adaptation of a book?
I will truly have to say Harry Potter. They did leave out important stuff, but I can’t help but love it. It was (nearly) perfectly casted and they did a wonderful job overall with the characters, plot, and visual storytelling so I won’t really complain.
If you were to write a book about your life, which author would you want to write it?
Well my life isn’t exactly interesting, but hopefully I’ll do some noteworthy stuff in the future. I’d ultimately want J.K. Rowling to write a book about my life, but S.E. Hinton might do a good job as well, considering the fact she grew up pretty close to where I live (like a state over, but whatever), so she’d have better insight on what it was like, if that makes sense. Plus, we’re both crazy over Supernatural.
What is your favorite time and place to read?
I like reading at night in my bed after I’ve eaten dinner. This is because at this time I’m done with the day’s events, I’m full and content, and just ready to read as a perfect wrap up to my day, no matter what events occurred.
What is your favorite reading time snack?
I try not to snack all that much while I’m reading because I am the most clumsy person in the world, but if I do snack I will eat something with no grease, no liquid, and nothing where I have to use utensils where the food could possibly fall off and onto my book. I’m a freak when it comes to keeping my books clean so I will get mad at myself if I leave a food stain on my book. And no chocolate because it melts and always ends up getting on my hands (and sometimes even on my arms somehow, I don’t know, okay), but I like eating grapes and drinking tea or coffee while reading.
List 3 facts about yourself that are totally unrelated to books and blogging.
1. I’m a procrastinator (I’m procrastinating writing an essay right now, actually) but I always end up getting stuff done somehow.
2. I want to go to the University of Texas at Austin. It’s honestly my dream school.
3. I want to study writing (of course) but more specifically creative writing and possibly screenplay writing. I want to write books and possibly TV shows and movies as well. I promise, no frustrating love triangles that have nothing to do with the plot.
What is your current and/or dream job?
I kind of just answered that question, but I didn’t mention that I also want to own my own bookstore. One of those hole-in-the-wall places with a little cafe. I would have new releases as well as used books and I would promote indie authors and have their books in stock as well. I don’t want to just support one type of book, I want to support them all!
What is the best book you’ve read this year?
That’s a difficult one. It’s tied between two, I think.
I’m sorry but I’m breaking the rules and not nominating anyone. I’m sorry! I love you all and you all deserve this award! Also, over the weekend I went to the North Texas Teen Book Festival and met some authors and BookTubers and I’m putting together a video for my BookTube channel about my experience and I was wondering if you’d like a post chronicling my time there as well as a video or just a video? Thank you for reading, let me know what you thought in the comments!
Having a bookstore would be amazing! I’ve always loved the smell of bookstores, is that totally weird? Also I applaud you for taking such good care of your books hahaha. It’s hard for me to squeeze in reading time, so I read a lot during my lunch breaks and I’m always spilling stuff on my books.
Loved reading your responses! 😀

I love the smell of bookstores too. I have to sacrifice eating food while reading most of the time because I hate getting my books dirty. I loved answering your questions 🙂

Congrats on your Liebster Award! I enjoyed reading your answers and getting to know your personality a little better. I think you created an awesome zombie fighting team! ! I love Rick and Michonne. But I also love Maggie and Glenn. And I agree that Harry Potter is the best book-to-movie/tv adaptation ever! I can’t believe I still haven’t read Truthwitch yet. I was seriously anticipating it (and I still am!), so I hate that it’s taken me so long to be able to read it. Hopefully I’ll be able to do that in the next couple months. Anyway, congratulations again! You deserve it! 😊❤

Awe thanks! Maggie and Glenn are awesome as well! Truthwitch is really great, I bet you’ll love it once you get to it. It took me a while to get to as well.
