Hello peoples! I’m back with a tag that I was tagged in about two weeks ago by Bookfandom1001. Let’s just jump right on in!
GREED: What is your most inexpensive book? What is your most expensive book?
Any book that I’ve won in a Giveaway would be the most inexpensive book, but This is Where it Ends was my first ever book that I’ve won in a Giveaway, so it’ll be the answer for the most inexpensive book. The Walking Dead Compendium One however…. that was around $60. I’m not even remotely joking, guys! I was out on a B&N shopping spree with my Dad and he basically just followed me around the store as I picked out the books I wanted to buy. He pointed out The Walking Dead Compendium One and offered to buy it for me, since we both love the show and I’ve been wanting to read the graphic novels, I picked it up and we headed to the check-out. I didn’t know how expensive this book was until looking at the receipt when I made it home. Let’s just say that I ordered from Amazon when I bought the second compendium (it was like 40% off listing price!)
WRATH: What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?
I think that a lot of people have the same relationship with Cassandra Clare, the author of The Mortal Instruments series. Clare has been sued for plagiarism and ultimately, her books sometimes have a lot of similarities to Fan-Fiction. That’s not necessarily a bad thing (the Fan-Fiction thing), since everybody starts somewhere, but I don’t know, sometimes I love her world that she’s created as well as her writing, while other times I just roll my eyes with annoyance.
GLUTTONY: What book have you devoured over and over with no shame?
I’m not one of those people who re-read books (I’ve only re-read two books ever, and those are the first two Harry Potter books), but I can see The Outsiders as one of those books that I find myself re-reading on a boring day inside or on a long flight somewhere. It’s small and short and can easily be taken with me anywhere I go, plus the characters and story are so raw and amazing that I don’t think I could ever get tired of re-visiting them.
SLOTH: What book have you neglected reading due to laziness?
I have good reasoning behind this one. These books are both SO. LONG. Seriously, though! It’s not like I don’t think they’ll be good, but they’re both behemoths. Just thinking of trying to tackle these novels makes me want to curl up in a ball and contemplate what my life might become if I get stuck within the pages of those books, forever lost in the endless pages. I may be over-reacting, but I’ll get to them when the right time comes. And when that time arrives, I have no doubt in my mind that I’ll love these books.
PRIDE: What book do you talk about in order to sound like an intellectual reader?
Well I’m not one of those people that talks about a certain book in order to sound like an intellectual reader, but it always seems to impress people whenever I tell people that I’ve read To Kill a Mockingbird and enjoyed it. They usually assume that it was required reading for school, but I answer truthfully by saying that I chose to read it out of my own free will, which impresses them. I guess it’s because usually teenagers nowadays only read classic American literature if it’s for a school assignment, yet I do it for fun.
LUST: What attributes do you find attractive in male or female characters?
I’m nerdy so I find it attractive whenever a character makes a lot of references to nerd culture that only a true nerd would understand and appreciate. I also like a character who is intellectual without trying to be smarter than anybody else.
ENVY: What book would you like to receive as a gift?
Well I already received one book that was on my list for Christmas (I won’t tell until I post my Christmas haul), so I’ll go with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone: Illustrated Edition. Note how I wrote Philosopher’s and not Sorcerer’s.
I don’t tag anybody in particular. Yes, I know, I’m boring. If you decide that you’d like to do this tag, just leave a link in the comments to your post so I can check it out!
I haven’t read The Name of the Wind for the same reason! It’s too much commitment for me right now haha. Nice post!

The Name of the Wind was SO. GOOD. It’s a big book, but like… not uncommonly long for fantasy. I think it’s shorter than GoT. Now, when you get to The Wise Man’s Fear… THAT is a behemoth.
