Okay so this will be the last tag/post that I’ll be converting from my Weebly blog. Also, there are loads of TV/Movie reviews and book reviews on the way! So look out for those! Now, let’s get to the tag!
I saw this tag and I immediately decided I wanted to do it, so here I am. I’m not sure who created it, but thank you to the person who did, because you’re a genius. I’m going to do all parts of the tag, even if I’m not part of the fandom. The fandoms that I am a part of will have a beautiful gif to go beside it:) I will also only be using books that I have either read or books that I own. Without further ado, Allons-y! Check out these wonderful bloggers where I first saw the tag: Lifeandotherdisasters, Mytinyobsessions, Randomreads, and last but not least 52lettersinthealphabet!
Doctor Who– A book with a mostly-blue cover
Sherlock– A book featuring a psychopath/sociopath
Alyssa’s mom isn’t technically crazy, but she is in an asylum, and acts like a psychopath. Read my review of the book here.
Once Upon a Time– A book inspired by fairy-tales
Harry Potter– A book featuring magic
Supernatural– A book where the main character dies and then comes back to life
I am trying so hard not to use a lot of Harry Potter in this tag, but it’s really difficult. There’s a dragon on the cover so…
Game of Thrones– A book featuring dragons
I am trying so hard not to use a lot of Harry Potter in this tag, but it’s really difficult. There’s a dragon on the cover so…
Marvel- A book with a mostly-red cover
Pretty self-explanatory
Percy Jackson– A book based on ancient Greek myths
Before you say ‘those are for kids!’ listen to me. They’re good depictions of Greek Mythology, okay? Let me be.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D– A book revolving around an agency or secret government organization
I’m referring to WICKED on this. Not exactly a secret, but it is a government organization of sorts.
Grimm– A book that features monsters
There are vampires, werewolves, and demons. I don’t know what other monsters you need.
The Walking Dead– A book about zombies
So this isn’t about zombies, but the white walkers are zombies. They’re just cold. Y’know cause winter is coming.
The Vampire Diaries– A book featuring vampires
I’m going classic on this one.
Heroes– A book featuring humans with powers
Even though I don’t like this book very much (at all), I’m still going with it. There are other books out there where humans have powers, this one reminds me the most of Heroes.
The Hunger Games– A book in which kids/teenagers are murdered or die
Two of my favorite characters die in this series. Both teenagers. How’s that?
Frozen– A book that takes place in winter or a cold climate
That gif over there is way too cheery for this book. I haven’t read it but know it’s narrated by death.
Lord of the Rings– A book featuring elves
I had to look this one up
Lost– A book that takes place on an island, deserted or otherwise
Not all of it takes place on an island, but part of it does. Read my review of the book here.
The Maze Runner– A book featuring an incurable disease
Zombies, people. Zombies.
Fandoms I’m not a part of:
The Simpsons– A book with a mostly-yellow cover
Breaking Bad– A book revolving around drugs
It doesn’t revolve around drugs, but there is drug use.
Charmed– A book about sisters
Star Trek– A book featuring aliens or takes place in space
A book about aliens invading Earth in waves.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer– A book featuring a tough heroine
There is no tougher heroine out there than Katniss. She may not be my favorite female character ever (that is reserved for Hermione), but she is tough and can kick some serious butt.
Pretty Little Liars– A book in which people get blackmailed
There isn’t blackmail in this book, but I there is bullying. I have never read a book with blackmail in it, so I altered the topic a bit so that I wouldn’t be forced to skip it.
Orphan Black– A book about clones/cloning
The Lunars in this novel can make themselves look like people. It’s not cloning, but it’s the closest thing I’ve got to it. Check out my review of the book here.
Futurama– A book featuring robots
I think this is the only book I’ve ever read that has robots or androids or cyborgs of some sort in it.
Merlin– A book or series that you wish had gone on longer
Although I loved this book, I thought the ending was a bit disappointing and I wanted it to go on forever. You can read my review of the book here.
Firefly– A book that not many people know about, but you love
This book is beautifully crafted, but I haven’t really heard anything about it from other people.
The Fault in Our Stars– A book about a cancer patient
I don’t own a book, nor have I read a book with a cancer patient in it except for The Fault in Our Stars and that is the topic’s fandom, so I’m not going to mention that.
My Own Addition:
DC- A book where the protagonist’s parent(s) are dead
Well Harry Potter is the boy who lived. It’s not very complicated.
So that’s it! That’s the Fandom Book Tag. If you enjoyed this post, please like and leave a comment. I tag everybody who would like to do this tag. If you end up doing it, please leave a link to your post in the comments so I can check it out!
I love this!
